My mom makes these rolls, and I made them for the first time on Sunday. They were SO good! I think I might start making rolls from now on!
1 T yeast
¼ cup warm water
1 T sugar
Warm:
1 cup evaporated milk
½ cup shortening or margarine
½ cup sugar
¾ t salt
Add 3 well beaten eggs and yeast mixture
Mix well.
Add:
3-1/2 to 4 cups flour
Let raise about 1 hour
Roll out dough
Let raise 3-4 hours
Bake at 400 for 8-10 minutes
